MIAMI, FLORIDA
Before we leave on our voyage (or after we return), take some time to soak up the sun and culture of Miami. Play in the surf and white sand of gorgeous South Beach. Explore the Art Deco district or check out Wynwood’s vibrant art scene. And be sure to sample some amazing local seafood or Cuban cuisine! If you're looking for excitement, Miami is sure to deliver.
ROATÁN, HONDURAS
Roatán is home to the second largest barrier reef in the world, with dense rain forest and sandy shores. Imagine a place where lobster is a common lunch fare, traffic lights don't exist, and you can hail a taxi on the water. Go snorkeling or scuba diving in the morning then spend the afternoon on a secluded beach, exploring the forest trails or nature reserve, or visiting the lovely west-end villages to experience the local culture.
COSTA MAYA, MEXICO
The past meets present in Costa Maya. Venture into the jungle for a glimpse of Maya history at the Chacchoben and Kohunlich ruins, each over 1000 years old. Go snorkeling in Banco Chinchorra, the largest coral atoll in the northern hemisphere, swimming in the Cenote Azul, or spend the day kicking back at the beach. While Costa Maya might look sleepy at a glance, there's something for everyone in this corner of the Caribbean. The best of both worlds awaits.
COZUMEL, MEXICO
Cozumel blends Mexican culture with Caribbean vibes. Spend the day swimming with dolphins, visiting 1,700-year old Mayan ruins, scuba diving or snorkeling at Chankanaab National Park surrounding a lagoon with underwater caverns, home to dolphins, manatees and sea turtles. Enjoy the white-sand beaches and azure waves of this largely undeveloped island, with expanses of jungle and untouched shoreline. It’s easy to create memories that will last a lifetime.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS
The city of Nassau is a blend of influences from West Africa to England and from Haiti to the United States. Spend the day at Atlantis Resort, the largest water park in the Caribbean, with plunging waterslides and underground tunnel aquariums. Or go kayaking around Pearl Island or spend the day relaxing at beautiful Junkanoo beach. Nassau represents the best the Bahamas has to offer with it's tropical, tree-lined streets, crystal-clear turquoise waters, soft-sand beaches, and lots of duty-free shopping.
